T O P I C R E V I E Walvarella777Another question for tonight: What does it mean when a man's VERTEX is conjunct my NN? His ANTI-VERTEX is conjunct my VENUS (since my venus i conjunct my south node). Seems to be a "karmic" aspect, right? To be honest: I have my difficulties with this expression, "karmic"... This guy and me, we had an intense affair for half a year - but nothing more substantial developed out of it. We're about to lose "our thing" - and I'm unsure whether to fight for that thing - or let it go.(((Thanks Azalaksh for the Vertex-link-list you posted before! I studied it, but I am still curious about the NN-conjunction.)))Venus De MiloUnfortunately there isn't a whole lot of information out there about the Vertex and what specific aspects mean. Clearly, that aspect is highly significant, with your Venus, Nodes and his Vertex involved. How close are the orbs?Would you say that somehow this relationship impacted your life in a significant manner?Going solely by the aspects and what 've read about the Vertex (not by anything you've told me), I would say that you would have impacted HIM in a big way, since it's your Venus aspecting his anti-Vertex. You would have made a big impression on him, do you think this is true? Do you think this may have been a negative impact, since it's the anti-vertex? The literature I've read has implied the anti-vertex can be negative, I have no idea if this is true, I have no real life experience with it.As far as the North Node conjunct his Vertex - this is an interesting one, I'm not sure what to make of it. Could it be that he may be able to help you fulfill your life's purpose in some way? Or vice versa, you help him? Is your life path somehow illuminating to him, impacting him in some way, since it's his Vertex? I have had lots of personal contacts with Vertex in the last few years, so I really believe it's extremely significant. The Pisces Psycho I talk about has Venus conjunct my Vertex and I mt 3 really cool people last year who I became great friends with, instantly clicked... and my planets all conjunct their Vertex. LoveIf you don't like to think of it as karma, instead just think of it as unfinished business. Vertex is an angle pointing you at something (or in this case someone) and NN is pulling a person in a specific direction. In my experience, both people are ultimately affected. I've had Vertex conjunct others' NN, Saturn and Karma asteroids (and vice versa) and all of those relationships have been highly significant for me...and I'd like to think for the other person as well. Generally these have been intimate relationships, but that's largely because my NN and Vertex are both in Scorpio in the 5th house. What the significance is can be narrowed down by sign and house position.~ Love BTW, strangely, most of my Vertex/NN/Karma conjucntion relationships have lasted 6 months too. Maybe there's an expiry date on Vertex relationships...?alvarella777Hi, thanks for your answers. LOVE, this "six-months-idea" frightens me a bit...;-) I counted the months again, and must say: It has started eight months ago... Hm, maybe this thing IS siginificant. There is a strong push-pull-effect going on between us. Especially the last weeks have been very volatile. It's a long distance thing - and it is sort of "impossible", as far as the circumstances are concerned. Just as I considered putting it down, he came back lately.... I'll keep you updated! ;-)alvarella777Oh, the SIGNIFICANCE:It's in PISCES - my NN in my 3rd house, conjunct his VERTEX in his 6th.That means: My SN conj. VENUS conj. his ANTI-Vertex is in my 9th/his 12th.In fact, he is a foreigner, lives abroad (9th house).Any additional thoughts on that? ;-)MoonDreamer81Cool topic!I love discussing angles(Maybe because me & my love have so many aspects )I can't imagine having Vertex conj NN in synastry! That sounds awesome and life-transforming!I think the main Vertex aspects that count are conjunctions(to both the Vertex and Anti-Vertex).They are supposed to represent "fated" encounters over which you have little control.Perhaps he is "fated"(Vertex) to "pull you forward in your life path"(NN).Here is what I have w/ my love...~My Vertex(Scorpio 9) conj his Mars(Scorpio 7)~My Venus(Gemini 6) conj his Anti-Vertex(Sag.6) HeHeHe...his Mars aspects my Vertex,my Venus aspects his Vertex.Sounds fated & HOTT!------------------S:TaurusASC:GeminiM:ScorpioLoveWell, I would say that perhaps in a past life (if you can humour me for a minute )you two probably had a love (affair) together.Your NN is in the house ruling communication and his is in the house of service. Could be there is some kind of karmic thing going on whereby you are exchaning a 'service' to do with communication? I personally see a lot of karmic things from the 12th house in charts. Anti-Vertex there might suggest, once again, some karmic point which is being activated by your Venus. So yeah, I woud go with past life.alvarella777It is weird: Indeed we "met" via the Internet - he is using his office computer. (my NN & his Vertex in my 3rd/his 6th house in Pisces). He lives abroad - and our little thing has some taboo/forbidden element about it, because there's another woman. (My SN conj. Venus conj. his Anti-Vertex in my 9th/his 12th house). When we met for the first time in person, after weeks of e-mail-conversation, both of us had been completely swept away. It was just like that old saying/feeling: "We KNOW each other", but we made fun of it first. I feel that I have to treat him /talk to him in a very tender, sophisticated and careful manner, because he's quite touchy (The Pisces-quality of his Vertex - and maybe there is some kind of sensitivity I have to work on with my NN in Pisces in 3rd.) And one more thing: My own Venus is not only in a 0 dg conjunct my SN (in Virgo/9th house) and conj. his Anti.Vertex - but also conj my points of Sensitivity, Prudence and Deceit! In fact, there's another woman in his life, nothing is clear to me at the moment - and I strongly feel that I must let lose a bit, be not as strict in my principles as I used to be (Normally I'd say: "Hands off from any man, who has a girlfriend!!!"). Something told me with this man, right from the start, that I'd have to develop more patience ... tolerance ... and sensitivity. I wonder whether i break my own values/rules at the moment. Don't know ... it's going very slowly ... but it started quite intense and it didn't lose any of this intensity for over half a year now. It feels "worthwhile", strange and impossible as it seems from the outside. I am doubting my intelligence, sometimes!Wow - Karma? What a sexy word! ;-)
